I cannot recommend Emis and Red Hood Chimney Sweep enough! We had three different companies come out to try and fix our fireplace and spent a ton of money without results. We have lived without our fireplace for two years thinking we were going to have to replace the entire thing until a friend recommended Red Hood. The guys came out and had our fireplace working within 30 minutes! I could have cried I was so happy!! I am so grateful for their expertise and amazing service! Thank you SO much!!!

We'd been talking about getting the chimney cleaned, but since we had not been using the fire place for some time, we kept postponing it. When the weather turned, it became clear, it was time. After checking around, Red Hood sounded like a good bet. To make a long story short, he (the owner) did a great job inside and out, which included bringing the chimney on the roof up to code. He explained in detail what he had done and told us to call right away should we have any further problems. It's been several weeks and no further problems so far. A job well done and for a reasonable price.

We had Red Hood Chimney Sweep replace the damper and sweep the chimney today. It's been quite a while since we experienced the kind of great service that Emmet provides. He was very professional, he explained everything that needed to be done and why. We received quotes from other chimney sweep companies that were much higher for the same service. We will definitely be recommending him to friends and family.

Wow, Red Hood was fantastic. Although Emmet's price was a little higher, his service was worth it. He cleaned two chimneys and identified problems with both. The reason our living room chimney was smoking was a problem with the chimney cap. He created a custom replacement at a reasonable price for the original 1922 one and all our problems were solved. And he let us know that the master bedroom chimney was deteriorating and ready to burn our house down! We haven't fixed that one yet but we will use Red Hood when we do! In the meantime, no fires in that one.
